Where the money comes from, and where it goes

xCanopy earns from two places: pack sales, paid in SOL, and the creator fee on XCAP trades. Both go the same way first: buying desks for the shelf. Pack payments go to the treasury wallet 4NMT…yapc, and every one is checked on chain before a desk is drawn.

Pack sales

A pack's price is the higher of two numbers: its expected prize divided by the payout ratio (85%), and, for house packs, what it costs to buy a replacement desk plus 5% loading and a 3% minimum margin. So a house pack never sells for less than its desk costs to replace. After a sale:

Pack revenue · draft
  • 80%Buys desks to restock the shelf
  • 20%Treasury (operations, forged-pack creator shares)

Restocking takes the cheapest desk on Magic Eden, or mints one on OTC if that's cheaper, and never pays more than 15% over a desk's fair value.

XCAP creator fees

XCAP launches on pump.fun with its creator fee (0.3% of every trade) paid to xCanopy.

Forged packs

A creator pays a forge fee (draft: 20 SOL) to launch a branded pack around their stocks. 80% of it buys the pack's desks and 20% goes to the treasury. The creator then earns 30% of their pack's sales. Forged packs are limited runs and are never restocked.
