Glossary
The words used across xCanopy, in one place.
Airdrop
The last stage of a sweep. The value collected from a burned desk's vault is split across the coin's top 200 holders, pro rata to their balances. (Paid in SOL in this build.) See sweeps.
Bonding curve
The pricing rule a newly launched coin trades on. Price rises as people buy and falls as they sell. See launching a coin.
Burn
Destroying a desk NFT for good. A sweep collects the desk's vault first, so nothing it held is lost.
Client seed
Your own input to a draw. It's mixed with the server seed, so the server can't pick a result on its own. See fairness.
Commit (seed hash)
sha256(serverSeed), published before any draw that uses that server seed. It proves the seed wasn't changed after you pulled.
Creator share
The 5% of every trading fee on a coin that goes to the wallet that launched it. Shown on the coin page as Creator earned. (Counted but not sent in this build.)
Desk (OTC Desk)
A Solana NFT with a vault that earns tokenised stock from OTC's revenue. Every pack pays out one. See what an OTC desk is.
Floor
The cheapest price an OTC Desk is listed for on Magic Eden, as of the latest market snapshot.
Forged pack
A limited-run pack that's never restocked. When its last desk is pulled, it's gone. See pack kinds.
Gacha pool
Where 50% of every trading fee goes, shared by every coin. It buys desks off the market and puts them in the House pack.
Graduation
When a coin's bonding curve sells its last token. Trading then continues on a pool built from the rest of the supply and the SOL the curve raised.
House pack
The pack the gacha pool restocks with the desks it buys.
Nonce
The pull counter under one commit: 0, 1, 2 and so on. Each pull uses the next one, so no two pulls share an input.
Pack
A paid draw that pays out exactly one desk. Its page lists every desk on the shelf, with each one's value, tier and chance. See packs and odds.
Receipt
The record of one pull: the desk you got, the seeds, the nonce and the exact desk order and weights used. Once the seed is revealed, it verifies in your browser.
Reveal
Publishing a server seed once its commit rotates, so anyone can recompute every pull made under it.
Server seed
The secret half of each draw's randomness. Its hash is public before you pull; the seed itself is revealed later.
Sweep
A coin's sweep fund buying the cheapest listed desk, burning it and airdropping its vault: three stages, Bought → Burned → Airdropped.
Sweep fund
Each coin's own balance, filled by 45% of its trading fees. A sweep runs as soon as it covers the cheapest listed desk.
Tier
Where a desk's value sits between the cheapest and most valuable desk in its pack: Common (bottom half), Rare, Epic or ★ Legendary (top 5%). Each pack shows its odds per tier. See packs and odds.
Top 200
The 200 largest holders of a coin by balance, not counting the bonding curve and pool accounts. They share every airdrop from that coin.
Trading fee
A fee on the SOL side of every buy and sell of a launched coin, 1% by default. It's split three ways the moment it's earned. See where every fee goes.
Vault
What a desk has earned and not yet collected: tokenised stock such as AAPLx or NVDAx, and sometimes $OTC. Whoever holds the desk owns it.
